The first boutique hotel created by Lalin, Casa Colombo was housed within a 200 year old mansion in the heart of Colombo. Lalin restored the building which was badly deteriorated, and converted it to a hotel. Every item of furniture and decor were designed by Lalin and custom made in Sri Lanka. The eclectic style and design elements resulted in Casa Colombo winning over a dozen awards including the 'Best Designed Boutique Hotel in the World 2012'.
